A multi-site rollout was delayed by inconsistent handover packs, varied test formats, and monitoring setups that differed per site contractor.
What we did
- Introduced one standard commissioning pack (IR tests, IV curve sample methodology, inverter settings checklist, torque logs)
- Built a consistent as-built + labeling standard (string IDs, inverter mappings, combiner schedules)
- Validated monitoring data integrity (time sync, tag names, inverter channels, irradiance inputs)
Outcome
- Faster approvals and fewer re-visits per site
- Consistent documentation that made O&M easier from day one
