A BESS project faced delays due to ambiguous signal ownership, incomplete mapping between PCS/BMS/EMS/SCADA, and repetitive SAT punch items.
What we did
- Verified I/O list and signal mapping (status/alarms/commands/measurements) end-to-end
- Created a SAT closure matrix tied to evidence (screenshots, test logs, sign-off lines)
- Defined alarm grouping and response actions for operations handover
Outcome
- Reduced SAT churn and avoided re-testing loops
- Cleaner handover pack that operations could actually use
